Grading assignments

Joe_MitchJoe_Mitch Member Posts: 8

Hello,

I am moving my classes from AutoCAD to Onshape and was wondering how you guys go about grading the assignments. I have seen from some people like totalltoby that they use the mass method but I want to make sure that they are putting holes and slots in the right place as well without having to go and pull up each and every single drawing and measure them out myself. Any and all help is appreciated it. Thank you.

v/r,

Joe

Center of mass or mass moments of inertia can help identify if there are differences between the correct answer and the students work. Mass moments of inertia is the same regardless of orientation, but center of mass requires the orientation of the part to be the same as how you did it.

I also recommend checking out the CAD Checker App. You can even pull all the students work from one assignment and get a report of which ones are close or far from your correct answer.
