Slider Z variable output

mike_72mike_72 Member Posts: 4 ✭✭

I have a slider mate and would like to display within an assembly (somewhere) the Z variable value as a text output. That is display the Z position in plain text. Is this ossible, and if so how please?

It is currently not possible to measure values within the assembly and then use them in configurations or configuration variables.
Here is an improvement request you can vote on which would allow this functionality. Assembly Driven Variables - Improvement Request

You can do this in a part studio, but then you wont have the slider mate.

One alternative, which would not be as interactive but would work, is to have a configuration variable in the assembly, and use that to drive the slider position and the text.
