Two bowls with almost the same dimensions

HavHav Member Posts: 2

I want to create to different rectangular bowls with almost the same dimensions. They differ in shape and length and width and depth. The remaining dimensions like thinkness, spacing and liddepth are the same. I drew and formed the first bowl. I wanted to use the same variable table for the second bowl. However I got stuck. Of course I can copy the feature list of the first bowl in a second part studio and draw there the second bowl. The first and the second bowl fit into each other.

If I want to design to other bowls which vary in length and witdh and depth then I can create configuration checkbox with the choices small and big with the relevant dimensions length, with and depth. But I have to do it in both part studios.

I would like to have one and only one coniguration checkbox that controls both designs in the two part studios.

Am I on a wrong path and should I choose another solution way?

L, B, D should be configurable. T, SP and AT remain fix.

Well, that appears just to be what configurations are meant to be used for. You could set the valid variables in the config, and the check box control which set to use.
