Stuck with how to approach offset part - Connect two

Hello!

I hope you all are doing well! I really hate to ask this, but I've run into a snag. Reviewed some tutorials on loft, revolve, bridging curve + fill + enclose. But i cannot get anything to work. I've tried various sketches to no avail.

Below is a snapshot of the part i am working on, and a photo of the actual part i am trying to model.

How would you guys approach this / model the missing section? Its thickness is 3mm.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
