Export/Import Class with assets feature request

I believe it would be useful if there were a way an educator could export a classroom to share with colleagues and other educators. If I set up a training or classroom with assignments and documents as assets, it would be nice to be able to share this without the need for the other educator to rebuild the classroom and assignments.
This would be similar to the Clone Class but would need to export the metadata and resource files to share. I suspect this would require a way to bind the resource files to the Class vs currently they are in a general folder in the Educators Account.

What happens if you invite/ add them to the classroom. Do they have educator permissions in it? It's something I've been meaning to check for a while!
Exporting a Classroom wouldn't exactly work, because a Classroom contains users and documents. But I like the idea of being able to clone Classes into another Classroom. So, if Mr. Adams and Ms. Brown were both educators in each other's Classrooms, they could share Classes, along with assignments and assignment docs.
When I currently Clone a Classe all the users are removed and only the documents and Educator exsist in the new Copy. This is grate fro a workflow that would require a condition like Hour 1,2,3… where the same instructor is teaching the same class but with a different group a students. Even Now I have 3 users in the class that are listed as Educators, but when I clone the class, I'm the only one that transfers to the new instance.
My ask if to be able to export or share this template for other educators to clone an empty room with the documents but no students. Possible Create another entry to this list that is not CLONE CLASS but Create Template and Share. This option would pack the assignments and start documents into an archive. Then a user with educator access could make the archive Public and other organizations could Clone the Class
My Use case is this. I have created a Class with a start document for each assignment for my FIRST Robotics team. In FIRST, we help the community and share everything, so I would like to publish my class for other FIRST teams to use in their Education accounts. I could not possibly invite 3000+ teams to become members of our account.
Maybe creating an APP would be a good angle. I need to investigate what Apps can and can not do. I have created and contributed to several Featurescripts. The trouble with this approach I see is that there are already great Classroom tools out there to grade and manage the users. An app would possibly need to re-invent all that.
Hi @Corey. I totally get your use case. As described, this is not possible right now, but is an excellent feature request. If a user takes the time to build out a nice course using Onshape Classes & Assignments, it would be nice to be able to share that course with other educators.
@Matt_Shields Is there an official Feature Request process I should refer to in order to get this on the roadmap?
