Feature Copy (Free App!) đź’˝

Copy.png  Feature Copy (*BETA)

No doubt a native feature copy will eventually be available. For now, here is a tool to help copy and paste features between part studios. It even lets you save presets and insert them whenever you like.
While this is a full tool, it is only a small sample of what  CADSharp Spin (Onshape Summary Image) - No background.gif  CADSharp is capable of automating for you.

Feature Copy is a sub-app from within the CADSharp Toolbox app.
Once you get the app, don't forget to grant access to the app within your user settings: https://cad.onshape.com/user/applications

get it now!

.

How does it work?

Feature Copy stores your preset list of features locally in your browser. It can insert them in any part studio you like.

  • Open a part studio along with the Feature Copy sub-app.
  • Check the features you want to copy and save them as a preset.
  • Go to any part studio or document > Select your preset > Insert.

*Note: This has been marked as beta because some features fail to copy.
