Is it possible to Reset Part Numbers in bulk?

HfrossardHfrossard Member Posts: 12 PRO

I need to reset several part numbers and wanted to do that in bulk.

For example: Lets say that my PN scheme is ABC-000, ABC-001, ABC-002 and so on.
I wanted to reset all ABC- part numbers.

It I write "ABC" on the Revision Tools area, it does not find anything and I have to write each and every PN.

Do you mean across a single design or an entire org? If it's one design, you can make bulk edits from the top level assembly BoM. Copy the table to a spreadsheet to clear them all, then right click the PN row in Onshape and "generate missing part numbers". If it's at the org level it sounds like a job for the API.
