Configuration Variables MisMatch

I've ben struggling with some configuration properties. With all of the tech out there I still cant figure out what I've done wrong. I have set a variable property called "Label" that I'd like to assign to each of my configurations. However, there is a mismatch between what I've set vs what is shown. When I select the configuration for Medium on the left, I'd expect "Med" to be displayed in the Label field below, as it is shown in the configuration table on the right. If I correct the value on the left, it remains static to what I've changed it to when i move to the next configuration.
I've added some screenshots, so hopefully this makes sense. Thank you SO much for the help, y'all. I am SO CLOSE to being done with my project!

The two configuration inputs are completely independent of each other. It sounds like you want
Labelto be a function ofConfiguration? If so, instead of a separateLabelconfig, you'd want to make a variable in the part studio (using the Variable feature), set its type toAny, and configure its value by theConfigurationconfig.(The applicability of this answer depends on how you're using the value of
Label.)
