Hello,

I have a question about updates when I have some parts that come from other documents. The question is as follows: Imagine that I have a document (A) in which I have some designed parts that I want to insert into another document (B). Document (A) has some branches, and these parts are in the DEV branch. If I create a version in document (A) but in a branch other than DEV, document B asks me to update the parts that come from this document A. Would it be possible to select only the DEV branch of document A in document B? I'm not sure if I've explained myself correctly. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Literally, I don't think there's a way to limit the selections to only a particular branch, however, there are a couple of things which might help:

You can pin a reference to keep it from suggesting you to update.

There's a workspace protection mode where the main branch won't get accidentally changed and all development happens in branches which have to be merged back into main to be official.
