Can someone please help me understand why the linear feature pattern isn't generating some instances

The Linear feature pattern sometimes skips over some instances but then generates the next one. Can someone please help me find out why? The doc in question is in the link below and its in part studio 1.

This is by far the most interesting method for creating wing ribs I have ever seen. We learn someting new every day.
Anyway, I modified the linear pattern so as to use MCs instead of planes, used a solid for the wing volume, which already had the holes for the ribs by means of a boolean. It worked then: It is fewer steps, too.
The diameter of the holes in the ribs is probably off, sorry, it was but an exaple.
