I can't edit an imported dxf file.

I have imported a dxf profile into Onshape.
I need to edit it before I can extrude it.
However, I am not able to manipulate it without an add on. I thought Onshape had the ability to do this without additional add ons.

import it into a sketch.
Tip: Import it into a sketch, FIX EVERYTHING and close the sketch. Then create another (parallel or planar) sketch where you make the edits needed and re-use everything you don't want to change. That way you get the best options while keeping everything stable.
