Help with lofts and boolean/split

steven_johnson681steven_johnson681 Member Posts: 5

I am trying to create a diverter for my minisplit ac. I want to attach it to a 6in hose so I created a cone and then used Routing Curves and lofts to attach the parts that connect to the minisplit to the cone. I hacked it together and it seems like it would work but it's ugly.

Any advice on a better way to connect the two with nice sweeping curves? I wanted to avoid flat planes.

I'm also struggling to hollow out the body. I shelled the cone but that still left the top of the cone. There's also parts of the side shrouds sticking through the cone that I couldn't get rid of using boolean or split.
