Recommended Mates for a Mixer Tap?

I'm trying to assemble a mixer tap with a domed base which will be fixed to the wall. The handle should be able to rotate 30° clockwise and anti-clockwise on the front plane to adjust water temperature. It should also be able to rotate 30° clockwise on the right plane to turn flow on and off. I've tried various mates however nothing seems to have the desired effect. Ball mates don't have the limitations necessary.

Hello Oliver. Want to cheat a little bit? Not ideal, but what if you designed it so the ball is a separate part, have the ball rotate (revolve) in its wall mounted socket part left and right or up and down. Then have the handle rotate on the ball with whatever pair of rotation you didn't select for the previous revolve. - Scotty
