Pasting a custom properties table from excel

When I google this, a few videos come up showing how to paste a table into a drawing sheet.

the table seems to paste like it is in Excel.

I am not able to replicate that quite as elegantly. I get a much bigger table and it is really hard to edit it. data is center-aligned , font and table spacing is too big. I cant even fit a 20 line table on one sheet.

What am I doing wrong?
