I always wanted to play with some featurescript and found Claude is really good at generating it. All of this started with me wanting to design our new kitchen with Onshape. I realized I don't want to recreate each cabinet so I asked Claude to go find all the dimensions and variants of IKEA kitchens and it found the IKEA Metod document outlining exactly that. It then generated some of the initial cabinets pretty quickly. I might have spend 10-12 hours total working with Claude over 3-4 days to fully detail the feature. And at the end it even generated the documentation PDF for me. All I had to provide was some screenshots.
This is pretty powerful and I hope people find it usefull. Goahead and share it as you see fit.
