Problem with curved pattern
Hello, I have a specific question about a groove pattern on my part. I want grooves to go around 1/4 of the entire part (you can see the lines where i was splitting the part for the area for the groove). i tried it with an curve pattern but the result is not what i want as you can see in the image. Also, these grooves should not intersect the very top or bottom face. i want to have some space between the top and bottom faces and the grooves. i want all of it to be as flexible as possible, that i can change the number or height of the grooves afterwards without having to readjust everything afterwards, but my main problem is that the grooves are not going around the full 1/4 (except the bottom one). the face on that pattern is linear right now but i might want to change it later to a curved face, so it would be great if there would be a solution which would also work when the face is curved.
