helical slot cylinder

Having some issues with my slot on my cylinder and making my hilux right to extrude the slot. looking for some guidance on this. You can see how its not matching my circles on the cylinder. Thanks!

    Hey Mitchel. One method would be to create a plane on the endpoint of the helix and draw a rectangle with the sides having the dimensions of the slot's width and depth. Sweep-Remove the rectangle profile along the helix.

    This question has been discussed and solved in this forum at least twice within the past year. A search for "Helical Slot" might help.
