Auto layout update request

Anyone willing to try the new capabilities to expand on auto layout to allow for nested layouts. So if you have a big cutout and there's open space in the middle, could other parts be fit inside there? As long as the interference check deems there's no interference.

I have a passing interest in a better nester for CAM studio, but featurescript is the wrong language to try to make a true shape nesting algorithm work. It's built to prioritize stable deterministic generation and the best nesters are none of those things. What you'd really need to do it right is a companion studio type that's allowed to violate some of the core tenets of featurescript and run probabilistic outcomes and multithreaded generations and push / pull the geometry to and from Onshape. I've got a few experiments like that in the works for a sculpting studio and a mesh reverse engineering studio that I could never have done in raw featurescript.

We use Mynesting which is really good for a massive number of 2.5 axis parts

if you pick the inside loops as cut lines, it puts other parts inside. Also things like the rotation lock are great for grain control.
