I need to make a prototype for my bachelor asignment

Hi
I am trying to make a box, it needs a rectangular lid with multiple rectangular "fins" that decend down from it, as well as the box section which also has fins throughout. The fins from the lid will interlace between the fins in the box, with even spacing between each. I am curious if there is an easy way to create and attach these fins, with specific dimensions and spacings.

You can try rectangular pattern in part studio which gives options such as part pattern, face pattern and feature patterns with directions and number of instances.
