inverted truncated pyramid with open top

How do I make an inverted truncated four sided pyramid with an open top. Ultimately I would like the corners to be defined as box joints, and am hoping that I can use the drawing to determine the angle of the saw when making the cuts. I've created the basic shape many ways, but I can't get it to be hollow and no top.

This is pretty much what @cadmando suggested. I'm not sure what the best way is to break it into individual parts is though. However, if this is the general shape you're going for, I'm sure a few people will have suggestions.
