Model disappears when selecting for certain commands

edited July 2016 in Community Support
Since recently when I try to select parts/edges/faces for certain commands, the model disappears when the selection needs to happen. Hovering over the resulting white screen does show me the orange highlights and allows me to select them, but without the model itself being visible that's a major pain. I already cleared my browser cache and such. Running latest version of chrome.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  I've created support tickets for both of you.

We believe this issue is related to graphics card driver support on Windows for Direct3D 11, which Chrome requires to run WebGL and by extension, Onshape.  Some out of date drivers do not support D3D11, so some elements of Onshape will not render correctly.  Updating your graphics card drivers could solve this issue, and if not, I would recommend trying Onshape in Firefox.  Firefox only requires D3D9, which is supported on the vast majority of graphics cards.
