Debossed Text on a Revolved Surface

How do I created debossed text (sunken into the part) on a part that I revolved from a sketch? I should also probably have a bit of draft to the letters, as it will be injection molded and I want the part to come free of the mold easily.
Thanks,
Jay

Without this being an exceptionally complex mold, you will generally be pulling in 1 direction. This makes life a lot easier - the extruded text direction will be the same for all characters. Below is a quick example of how to do it, there are many ways to achieve this. If you truly want characters arrayed about a central axis (very UN-(injection)moldable), then you would simply repeat this process for each character. Have fun!

Here's more specifically what I want to do. I would like a string of text like this on opposite sides of my handle. Do your instructions apply to what I'm trying to do? Thanks.
