Place a point, constrain it to other sketch objects and retrive its coordinates, HowTo?

1. I have sketched a  spline ( skFitSpline) of which i know some points.
2. i have sketche a linesegment (skLineSegment), for which i ensure that it crosses the firstly create spline.
3. I dont know the coordinates of the crossing point but i need them to continue the work based on them.

My intention is now to
1. sketch a point with skPoint anywhere without fixing it by precise coordinates.
2. set coincidence constraints (skConstraint) to point and line and point and spline.
3. solve the sketch (skSolve)
3. query the point to get its coordinates into a variable.

Would be nice if anyone could please give me a hint how to do this.

The sketch constraint system in FeatureScript is not that well developed yet, so you need to venture a bit into undocumented land to do what you're asking.

The number inside the initial guess (0.5) is the parameter along the spline.

Is the parameter 0.5 in "initial guess (0.5)" the starting point on spline for the search of the matching point?

Ber_ta, Im also wondering the same I have a series of splines and an ark to constrain.

Is the "localFirst" parameter still a string, or has it changed to a query (as this post states: https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/4507/projection-of-an-edge-onto-a-sketch)?
