Inserting Image show up as a black rectangle

tom_percytom_percy Member Posts: 1 ✭✭
Hi, I have inserted images before but it seems when i try to import a PNG (6mb) it doesn't work. It just comes up as a blank black rectangle. I have tried converting the PNG to a JPG (30mb) (via photoshop) but had the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Tom

I've seen a number of strange things during import of graphics objects, most surrounding what seems to be a relative scaling between part studio and the graphic.  Do you see anything if you zoom in closely on graphic?

Another consideration is possibly using a raw format such as TIFF.  Compression-based formats (esp. JPG) are difficult at times.  In my experience it is usually helpful to keep trying different formats until something works, as well as trying different conversion methods/tools.

Finally, we detected a bug a few months ago (haven't checked to see if fixed) where graphics objects imported into a part studio would disappear when a drawing was generated from part.

    Good luck!
