Phone Number when registering?

Hi when I wanted to register for a webinar, it asked me to input a phone number. Why is this? Also I don't want to, so could I just input 00000000000?

@LeeH, Onshape may be taking follow-up with webinar attendees to measure the success of webinar with the help of phone number. They may be collecting attendee feedback for future improvement. This feedback will allow Onshape to make their next webinar even better. It will also allow Onshape to better market and next webinar event and building relationship with attendees.
