Circular pattern did not regenerate properly: Pattern could not be created on the same part

Help! I'm trying to create a gear wheel by using a circular pattern, but get the error:

"Circular pattern did not regenerate properly: Pattern could not be created on the same part"

I have made the drawing public here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/ae6ead587a64a3e6688ea845/w/fd20dba6ab42a9225150f62d/e/cfa391c6a6901c3ca0ae20c8

Thank you

Aleksandr

aleksandr_babushkin, It is failing because you used line not a projected edge of circle which give intersected geometry after circular pattern. please refer below video to solve your issue.

Alternate solution:- If you want to use line only then please select feature pattern option then perform circular pattern it will produce required result. Kindly refer below video for more detail.
