Cannot edit a replicate action

I used the Replicate feature to mate a part several time in an assy by using Match individual edges. 
Now I like to edit this 'pattern' by selecting the Match edges on plane.
I looked after doing this by editting the replicate but cannot find replicate in the mate tree.
Is it possible to edit replicate and if so, how? Or do I have to delete all part instances and replicate agiain?

@ h_p  ,You are right.at this stage we are not able to edit the replicate once applied.Since Replicate reflecting in feature tree as number of mates,we are not able to edit the replicate option.So as you said we have to delete all instances and replicate again.
