How do I delete a rectangle on a sketch?

bdububdubu Member Posts: 9
If I select just a side of the rectangle and try to delete it, the other sides remain. If I stretch a selection rectangle around the entire rectangle and delete, it leaves the overall sketch (an outer rectangle which I believe may be a "center defined" rectangle) underconstrained. It's as though the outer rectangle's center point is no longer defined once I've deleted the inner rectangle. Is there a simple way for me to delete this rectangle inside of a rectangle?

when you select the rectangle with box selection, the center point of the outer rectangle is also selected, that's why the overall sketch is unconstainted, so after box selection, you need to click the center point again , namely unselect  the point .

@bdubu, If you created both rectangle at same point by center point rectangle then also you can delete internal rectangle without affecting constrained of outer rectangle by dragging and selecting center point. Kindly refer below video for more detail.
