Is it possible to create a part in place?

I have been using the possibility to create a new part directly in the assembly enviroment, often called "create part in place" or similar.

Nils, the assembly studio is intended to check dynamic motion and relationships between parts while a part studio is where the parts are actually constructed. Given Onshape's multi-part Part Studio environment, it is very easy to build an entire assembly in one Part Studio and then bring it into an Assembly to add mates and relations. For this reason, geometry cannot be created in an assembly environment.
