is there a way to rename a code in one go?

sample : definition.partToCut  >>>all to rename to >>> definition.partToCut2

Not intelligently.  The best we have is find and replace using Ctrl+H (Command+Option+F on mac) -- see the Ace (the underlying code editor) shortcuts here: https://github.com/ajaxorg/ace/wiki/Default-Keyboard-Shortcuts
