Creating a gentle funnel out of a surface?

I'm a beginner trying to create essentially a simple box with a spout in it to drain liquid. I've got this far (pic) with sketches, extrudes and transforms, but I'm hitting a brick wall trying to find a way to make the "inside bottom" surface curve smoothly down toward the spout.
I guess what i'm looking for is a way to distort a surface down in a "funnel" sort of way (i.e. highest at the four corners and lowest at a point that I define). Is there a simple way (or any way) to do that?

When you make you funnel you can use guides in your loft to really shape how you want it to flow.

I've never played around with loft end conditions....Gonna have to look into that a bit more.
