How do I stop emails for a topic?

Yesterday I viewed a topic, as I do regularly to keep myself informed.
Now I get emails relating to the topic even though I didn't contribute to the discussion. Obviously, I clicked on something inadvertently whilst in the topic. I cannot for the life of me work out how to disassociate myself from the flood of emails.
Please help.

Step:1- Click on account option. After that select preferences as shown in below image.
Step:2- Deselect in Email option which are not applicable to you as shown in below image.
Step:3- Click on save preferences tab
