Add text/Notes to assembly

How do you add text or a note to an assembly so you can print it without creating a drawing?

    You can currently create a comment on a piece of geometry by right clicking and pressing "Add comment..." https://www.onshape.com/cad-blog/tech-tip-comments-in-onshape

    I'm not sure if this is what you are asking for though.  It seems like you want some sort of callout in the 3d graphics area.  If the comments we currently have do not satisfy your use case, please create an Improvement Request from the menu item on the right -->
