I need help in designing a cap for the plastic bottle neck shown in the image. What could be the best possible method to design a cap with threads matching with the profile of the threads on bottle neck?

Product to injection mold?
To 3D print?
To render and just look bottle-like?
A couple of ways.
(1) Extrude a circle and boolean subtract the bootle
(2) Extrude a circle and sweep-remove a thread profile around a helix
(3) Revolve a cross section of the cap through 360 deg.

Use the helix feature to sweep a thread profile at the correct pitch etc.
Good luck!5
