Mirror a sketch but don't keep original

I can't find if and how this is possible. I need to mirror a sketch done by someone else without keeping the original entities. Seems a very simple task but I can't make it happen??

Once you've mirrored the sketch, either within that same sketch or in a new sketch, delete the symmetry relations. The new mirrored sketch will be unconstrained but independent of the original. You can delete the original after that if you like.

My bad! Today I am able to delete the unwanted entities. Thanks anyway

If you need to mirror the complete sketch, you can create an artificial plane with flipped normals. This way the constraints are preserved.
