How do I copy a Sketch content from one Version/Branch to another?

Somehow I lost my progress between edits and have successfully saved each Sketch in a DIFFERENT version/branch.  But I can't for the life of me figure out how to copy one to the other, or merge the pieces I like from one/the other.  HELP!!?  I'm hoping this is super simple but I just couldn't figure it out.  Thanks!

The problem seems to have arisen due to the sketch plane being lost/erroring after it was working fine -- I get this message: "____ did not regenerate properly.  Select a sketch plane."
