Saving the current screen as a revision is important to me. Is this possible in onshape?

If you hit SHIFT + S while in a document, we bring up the option to save a version.  Or you can click "Save version" button in the version options.  These versions are immutable and allow for branches to be made off of them.

    1. Click on the version button to see the version tree.  From here there is an option to "Save a version"

    2. In the dialog that opens, select a name for your version and description you want to add

    3. Hit save and the version gets added to the version graph

Selecting that version will open it in view only mode.
