hi
i recently imported an STL file into a new project. this was imported as a mesh and i then deleted sections to it. i then added parts to the model but when i export to STL only the parts are being exported and not the modified mesh object ?
any ideas if im doing something wrong?

Yes. The STL is imported as reference geometry only (a cloud of points joined with imaginary triangles, nothing solid at all). As such you need to use this to reverse engineer the features you want to keep, not just model the features you wish to change. Make sense? If not shout :-)shaun_nadan said:
