Self-intersecting splines

Working with different kinds of curve generation featurescripts I noticed that all them fail when trying to create self-intersecting spline curve, are there any internal limitations of spline realization in FS?

    That is correct -- we do not support self-intersecting splines.  The challenge is that a self-intersecting curve is non-manifold, so it cannot be in one body regardless.
