Partial cut away in shafts

Is there a possibility to only cut a certain area of a shaft and display that on the part itself (without additional cut view)?
I think it's a often needed feature for many drawings because a full cut view is not necessary at times. Hope it exists but I just don't find it...

We do support partial section cuts, which you can see in the docs here. However, that does still create a separate view, we do not currently have the capability to overlay a partial section view on its parent. If you would like to see this functionality please make an improvement request on the right -->.
