Hi Guys
trying to mirror my sketch faces to complete the dodecahedron. I can select plane 6 as the mirror plane, but i can't select my faces to mirror.

What am I doing wrong?

Looks like you figured out a solution, but I wanted to show you another possible solution:

If you create offset surfaces (with 0 offset) of the sketches, you can mirror those. Then you could do your transformations and then use the "Enclose" feature to create a solid:
https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/enclose.htm
The issue here is that "Part" mirror cannot act on sketches (you could try a feature mirror of the sketches, but part mirror of surfaces will be more stable).
Here I approached your problem differently:
I sketched one pentagon, circular patterned it around, mirrored it up, rotated, then enclosed the whole thing to a solid.

I needed some dimensions from here, namely the "dihedral angle":
