(Sub)Folder sharing

Hello,
Is sub-folder Sharing is not possible? The Share option is greyed out when selecting a folder other than a root-Folder.
It seems to be possible on a document level though.
I wanted to give an intern with an Educational Onshape account some persmissions on a specific set of documents in a subfolder, but this was only possible by sharing each document separately.
Is this correct?

Mike,
Your observation is correct. In order to reduce the complexity of folder management, only top level folders can be shared, child folders can not be shared.
Documents on the other hand can be shared always regardless of their location for flexibility. While inside a folder, document sharing will work in conjunction with the parent folder's sharing permissions.

Allowing to change the Sharing options for multiple documents at one would also do the trick. But that is not possible either. Just looking into a way to edit permissions on a group of files at once, that are not in a top level folder.
