creating the same sketch entity on multiple points with a single function

I haven't found a way to create for example circles on multiple points that are not aligned in a predictable pattern(linear or circular).
I can set points for each circle but i feel like there is or should be a way to select multiple points and create an identical sketch entity on every one.
In general i would use this for creating holes in parts of furniture where dowels would be placed.
