Import of Inventor Assemblies

Hi,

Being new to Onshape and currently an Inventor user, I was wondering if it is planned to implement import feature for Inventor assembly (*.iam) files? This is currently not possible as far as I understand.

@lars_tiedemann - You are correct, today we only import Inventor Parts natively.
That said, you can always export STEP from Inventor and read it straight into Onshape

Quick update - as you probably noticed, Onshape now reads native Inventor assemblies.
Same rules as with SolidWorks pack-and-go;

• All files should be in the same zip file
• Name of the zip file should be the same as teh top level assembly
