Trying to make a solid of constant width but can't seem to trim the edge bits.

Need help finishing solid of constant width, was following along with the video below but when he uses the intersect tool in solid works it doesn't seem to work in onshape with the boolean feature.

If you post a link to your document here, someone can see why it's not working. I watched the video and everything should be possible in Onshape. Note that when he's intersecting the circular caps, he's doing the intersection 2 caps at a time, not all 3 or 4 together.
