How to extrude a sketch, touching the edge of existing part

kvdmolenpkvdmolenp Member Posts: 24 ✭✭
Hi,

I'm trying to extrude a circle to a solid, drawn on the shape below.
But I can't select the circle! Only the entire shape like the yellow below.

The drawing's face is the face of the part. The circle is visible.

Any idea how to achieve this?

Something about ambiguity in touching  edges?

Thanks!

Try using 'Select other' - access with RMB or key above Tab.

If the circle is a separate sketch can't you select that sketch in the history list where it asks for which Faces and Sketch regions to extrude? EDIT: Select the sketch instead of the circle itself?

If you created the sketch just as an arc, it won't select. You will need to create the sketch as a circle
