Adding extruded drawing to a part

Hey I'm messing around with adobe illustrator and Onshape, and I'm wondering if there's anyway I can get a drawing onto a part. I want to add a dog's face to a part, but it seems like the only way to do that is to import the AI file as a PNG, then trace it. This doesn't seem like the cleanest way to do this. Does anybody else know another way?

Can you export the file as a dwg or dxf?
