pattern to follow a shape for length

Hi, trying to create a pattern of slots whose length is governed by a circle.  Ie the overall shape of the 12 linear slots fits into a circle for a fan.  In SW or Creo I would just make the length of the slot controlled by the round curve (so the only two slot dimensions would be the width of the sclot and it's distance from center), then pattern.  Onshape just drives the pattern without changing the length so all are identical.  Obviously I could just do all this in a sketch,.but seems like there should be a simpler way. https://photos.app.goo.gl/FIs9Gw6l4ZQrRbUz2

just make sure fix constrain is added to all external sketch references

While this solves this particular case, I would say it is a work around to the the limitations of pattern.  If this was a more complicated feature it would seem very time consuming to manually put in an array of spacings, rather than a driven pattern.  I do appreciate the solution though.
