Welcome to the new release! Let's not waste any time, and instead jump right in to some new features.

This provides more useful information when searching through your browser history as well.

An additional confirmation prompt has been added before making a document public, when accessed from the right-click menu of the Documents page. Additionally, the Public tab of the Share dialog includes a new, bolder warning. Both changes aim to increase awareness and security around public documents, and prevent this option from accidentally being enabled.
NOTE: These options have no impact on Enterprise licenses, as an Enterprise-owned document cannot be made public.
CUSTOM WATERMARK TEXT FOR RELEASE MANAGEMENT
You can now customize the text of your Release management watermark, depending on the state. Changes can be made from the Enterprise settings, under Release management

ANALYTICS - OBSOLETION DASHBOARD
A new Obsoletion dashboard has been added. This provides valuable insights about obsoletion activity and where obsoleted revisions are in use in your current designs.

GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS
EDIT MATE CONNECTOR IN DIALOG
You can now move or realign a Mate connector directly from within the Mate (and almost any other) dialog. Previously, this edit would have to occur after creating the feature.SEARCH WITHIN ACTIVE FOLDER
Document search now defaults to showing results only from the current folder. You can also chose to exclude subfolders when searching.COPY DOCUMENT TO FOLDER
When making a copy of a workspace, you may now select a specific folder in which to place the copy.BROWSER TAB SHOWS FOLDER LOCATION
When on the Documents page, your browser tab now correctly shows the name of the folder location you have navigated to. Previously, it displayed "Documents" whether you were on the home page or in a folder.
This provides more useful information when searching through your browser history as well.
ACTION ITEMS REFERENCE VERSION OR WORKSPACE
Assigned Action items now clearly indicate which workspace or version they are referencing directly on the Action items page.
CONFIRMATION BEFORE MAKING A DOCUMENT PUBLIC
An additional confirmation prompt has been added before making a document public, when accessed from the right-click menu of the Documents page. Additionally, the Public tab of the Share dialog includes a new, bolder warning. Both changes aim to increase awareness and security around public documents, and prevent this option from accidentally being enabled.NOTE: These options have no impact on Enterprise licenses, as an Enterprise-owned document cannot be made public.
DRAWING IMPROVEMENTS
CUSTOM WATERMARK TEXT FOR RELEASE MANAGEMENT
You can now customize the text of your Release management watermark, depending on the state. Changes can be made from the Enterprise settings, under Release managementHIDE DATUM TARGET DIMENSIONS
Hide Datum target dimensions in your drawings via the right-click context menu.
ENTERPRISE IMPROVEMENTS
ANALYTICS - OBSOLETION DASHBOARD

Searching within active folder is a great update for us and will save some search times. The ability to edit mate connectors within the mates is a great addition!2

Ah! Editing MCs from the mate dialogue is exactly how I described in the IR I created a while back!
Search scope following folder also something I've wanted for a long time.3 -
Ok for the search within the active folder but would there be value in doing it also in the Assembly when inserting parts?
Today the search applies to the entire company domain and not just a subfolder that the user would preselect in order to limit and speed up the search:

A hidden gem in the change log:
- Improved mate connection placement on 3D curves

Good catch. I hadn't reviewed the change log yet.At the very least, we get the Z tangent to the curve (which is SO much more useful than previously). I would be nice if there were options to dimension the origin of the MC from a known reference using a real dimension, or the ability to use a 0...1 parameter (perhaps both parametric and curve length based). It's useful having the midpoint, but I could use some flexibility. It would also be nice if the secondary axis could be aligned to the tangent of a surface (or face) which the curve (or edge) is adjacent to.This improvement request can now be marked complete:Here are some more MC related IRs.https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/20860/toggle-implicit-mate-connector-to-explicit-mate-connectorThere's more than enough to have an entire release devoted to Mate Connector improvements.
Here's another MC related one that was completed recently:Simon Gatrall | Product Development, Engineering, Design, Onshape | Ex- IDEO, PCH, Unagi, Carbon | LinkedIn

Good update.
I especially like the option to edit the text of the watermarks. For those of us who use Onshape in Spanish, being able to define custom options in these texts is important. Just as if we could define in the hole annotations "Pasante" or "Por todo" instead of "THRU" in English.

Lots of nice little improvements. Thank you!1

Some great updates here, well done. It would be good to have the same search functionality in the "assembly insert" feature also.

The April 7, 2024 update (Version 1.179.4087) of the Android version of the OnShape app no longer works on my Pixelbook (125.0.6411.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) ).
It opens to the main menu, but then no matter what design I click on, it immediately crashes before it opens the design.
Any ideas how I can continue running OnShape on my Pixelbook?
EDIT: It turns out that my Pixelbook was on the "Dev Channel" so I could run the Linux terminal, so I switched it back to the "Stable Channel" and now OnShape works great again. Sorry for the noise!0 -
I noticed today (April 14) that I can add comments to items in a sketch. I have wished for this for years and now it is silently added.
I have one small improvement wish for this, please always show the blue comment balloon when "Show Expressions" are on, independently from the comments window.

@Hans_Ole_Leirvik to my knowledge, it's always been there, but only shows when the comment dialog is open, which is silly, I agree.

Nice watermark updates. Could we have finer resolution with the "In Progress" status by leveraging functionality similar to the export rules so that watermark could be "In Progress {workspace or version name}"? So in one case it would read "In Progress V2", helping the shop floor who may have a hard copy print know what they are working to.0
