Design Help - Make Into One Part
Hello,
I was hoping I can get some help… Can someone please help me turn this design into one part/piece? It is currently a sheet metal design one bend with a tab at the top.
Thank you in advance.

Use the "tab" feature instead of extrude2

I can't get it to work… sorry I don't have much experience with the Tab feature. Thanks again

Look under sheet metal functions for tab. A little reading in the help file will explain.

I got the tab feature to work… sort of. I am getting a "Collision In Sheet Metal Flat Pattern" error. I haven't been able to fix it after trying for a couple days! I believe my measurements are correct. Any help would be great…

You need to make the tab narrower than the opening. Collision means things are "touching" or "overlapping" in the flat view.
The flat view does show where the problem is:0
